Veteran spin-bowling all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has been included in Saurashtra's 16-member squad for their Ranji Trophy 2026/27 opener against Chhattisgarh. Veteran fast bowler Jaydev Unadkat is leading the team. Jadeja is returning from India's 2-1 ODI series win over the West Indies, despite taking only two wickets in two games.
Saurashtra begins their campaign against Chhattisgarh at the Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot. Saurashtra, the former champions, have retained 14 players from last season's squad. New faces Neel Pandya and Arth Yadav have also been called up to the squad. Unadkat will spearhead the pace bowling alongside left-arm pacer Chetan Sakariya, while Parth Bhut will handle the majority of spin bowling responsibilities.
