Pune-Delhi trains running as per schedule, none cancelled: Official

According to a statement from the Pune Railway Division, all trains connecting Pune to New Delhi are running as per schedule, with no cancellations reported. This includes the Goa Express, Nizamuddin Duronto, Jhelum Express, and Sampark Kranti Express, despite Northern Railway's earlier decision to cancel several Mail and Express services ahead of a protest in the capital.

The cancellation order was issued for trains departing after 2 pm on Friday and scheduled to reach New Delhi or Hazrat Nizamuddin stations between 4 am and 2 pm on Saturday, following a planned protest at Jantar Mantar by the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. Passengers traveling to New Delhi on Saturday are advised to check the latest status of their trains with the Railways before starting their journey.
