The golden trophy symbolizing the upcoming three-match T20I series between Pakistan and Sri Lanka was unveiled on October 8, 2026, at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. The trophy boasts a golden sphere atop a long, slender base, adorned with green and blue panels that depict the emblems of both nations. It was placed on a red pedestal, set against a mountainous backdrop.
This T20I series comprises three matches, all scheduled to be played in Rawalpindi. The first fixture is set to kick off on Friday, followed by games on October 11 and 13. After the series concludes, Sri Lanka will join Pakistan for an ODI tri-series, featuring England, from October 18 to 31, with matches in Rawalpindi and Lahore.
Sri Lanka will also participate in a three-day warm-up match in Islamabad from November 4 to 6, before competing in a two-Test series against Pakistan as part of the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2025-27 cycle.
The first Test match will be held in Rawalpindi from November 9 to 13, succeeded by the second Test at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium from November 17 to 21. This visit marks Sri Lanka's first bilateral short-format series in Pakistan since 2019, when they triumphed 3-0 in a three-match T20I series at Gaddafi Stadium. Pakistan holds a slight edge in the overall T20I head-to-head record, having secured 18 victories out of the 31 matches between the two teams, compared to Sri Lanka's 13 wins.
