👊Official: Montella SACKED by Turkey

The Turkish Football Federation has officially dismissed Vincenzo Montella as coach of the national team, following a dismal Nations League campaign during the most recent international break. The team suffered a string of consecutive defeats, losing all four matches in the competition: a tight defeat to France (1-0), a substantial loss to Belgium (3-0), and two heavy defeats against Italy (4-1 and 3-1).

Montella's coaching tenure appeared to be coming to an end even before the 2026 World Cup, as Turkey's early exit from the group stage raised concerns about his continued leadership. The series of poor performances in European competitions ultimately led to his departure from the Turkish football team.
