Nollywood actress Yvonne Jegede warns students against distractions

Nollywood actress Yvonne Jegede has cautioned Senior Secondary School students against allowing distractions, bad friendships and distractions from social media to derail their future. She urged them to think carefully before making life-changing decisions at a Campus Flaws Awareness programme held at Trinity University, Yaba, Lagos.

Jegede emphasized that the choices they make at their present stage could determine their future, urging them not to sacrifice long-term goals for temporary pleasure. She cautioned students against allowing the desire to fit in with peers or have fun to influence decisions with lasting consequences and advised them to be deliberate about choosing the right friends.

Jegede also warned about the influence of social media, urging students not to make decisions simply to impress others or belong to a particular group. She encouraged them to seek advice and mentorship before making major decisions and to consider the long-term consequences of their actions.
