Young entrepreneurs have been urged to adopt disciplined practices and the spirit of excellence in their interactions with customers and those around them. The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Ayoludanth Nigeria Enterprises Limited, Chief Ayoola Osunleye, addressed this charge at a gathering of more than 300 youth participants celebrating Nigeria's 2026 Independence Day at his Supermart building in Mologede Town, Magbon, Abeokuta.
Osunleye encouraged the youth to be bold in pursuing their goals, emphasizing that originality, concentration, and honesty would assist them in earning the trust of those they interact with. He personally has experience in entrepreneurship, having reared animals like chickens during his secondary school years and selling meat pies. He later focused on agriculture and opened supermarkets in Abeokuta, while also working as a building contractor for federal, state, and local government projects.
The entrepreneur recounted his supply of rams to President Bola Tinubu in Bourdillion, Lagos, and turkeys to the current Chief Judge of Ogun State. His agriculture business and construction work earned him praise from influential figures across Nigeria. Osunleye advised young people to start small and avoid rushing, stating that local beginnings could eventually lead to global success.
He further advised them to seek a good mentor, as he is inspired by former Minister of Agriculture Akinwunmi Adesina and Pastor David Oyedepo of Winners' Chapel.
The event featured entertainment by Boye Best and his musical band.
