Lahore Launches New System to Resolve Public Complaints

The Lahore District Administration has introduced the Supervisory Municipal Issues Reporting System to enhance the tracking and resolution of public complaints in the city. This project was addressed during a meeting presided over by Lahore Division Commissioner Nauman Yousuf, who praised the district administration for successfully launching the initiative.

Officials informed Commissioner Yousuf about the system's design and revealed that the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) has commenced making it fully functional across all districts. The system will enable authorities to observe complaints in real-time and prompt action on municipal issues. Deputy Commissioner Lahore, Captain (Ret.)

Ali Ejaz, explained that the platform would assist in resolving issues like inadequate sanitation, uncovered manholes, encroachments, and malfunctioning streetlights without undue delay. He added that unifying all departments responsible for civic services on a single portal would boost coordination and help deliver superior public services.
