Giorgi Kvernadze, a Georgian winger, remains Roma's top priority for the January transfer window. The 2003-born player has caught the attention of Roma's manager, Gianfranco Gasperini, and sporting director Tony D'Amico, who have been seeking a right-footed left winger capable of outrunning opponents. Kvernadze has started the season strongly, scoring 5 goals and providing 2 assists in just 6 games, attracting interest from Premier League and Bundesliga scouts.
However, Frosinone, where Kvernadze currently plays, is holding firm, refusing to let him leave for less than €25 million. The club sees the Georgian player as a potential successor to Chelsea's Gittens in their pecking order. Despite several failed attempts to sign Summerville and Leweling, Roma remains determined to secure a dominant winger, as Gasperini's long-standing desire for this type of player has not been met.
