Shehnaaz Gill has expressed her unwavering support for fellow Bigg Boss 20 contestant Mahhi Vij, reminiscing about her own experiences on the reality show. Though Shehnaaz clarified that she is not following Bigg Boss 20 this season and is unfamiliar with Mahhi's gameplay, she reaffirmed her support for the actress. She shared on social media, "I am not following Bigg Boss so I don't know how Mahhi is playing good or bad. But I'm still supporting her."
Reflecting on her own Bigg Boss 13 journey, Shehnaaz acknowledged the difficulties of life inside the Bigg Boss house, saying, "I was also in the same platform that Mahhi is in today and I remember how difficult it was." During a particularly challenging moment when she lacked clothes, Shehnaaz recalled how Mahhi had stepped in to support her. She remembered their shared laughter and tears, describing their bond as genuine and pure.
Praising Mahhi as a "genuinely, pure, and clean-hearted" person, Shehnaaz emphasized that her support for Mahhi is based on their real-life relationship, not her performance as a contestant. She concluded, "I have seen that side of her and that's why no matter how she plays inside the house I will always support Mahhi."
