Hyderabad fans gears up for Comic Con 2026 to be held at Bharat Future City from December 11-13
The three-day celebrations will feature international guests, cosplay competitions and Indie Game Utsav, though the venue’s distance has raised concerns among enthusiasts
Hyderabad fans are eagerly anticipating the return of the Comic Con 2026, set to take place from December 11 to 13 at Bharat Future City. The three-day celebration will bring together cosplay enthusiasts, anime lovers, gamers, and comic book aficionados from across the city. For 24-year-old Sathwik Reddy from Musheerabad, the hobby began during the COVID-19 lockdown, while 32-year-old Anusha Rao has made it a family tradition alongside her Spider-Man enthusiast husband.
Beyond the costumes, the convention offers a space for fans to celebrate shared interests in storytelling, anime, manga, comic books, and video games. This year, Hyderabad Comic Con will also feature the Hyderabad chapter of Indie Game Utsav, providing indie developers a platform to showcase their work to gamers and publishers. The convention will also be part of the Invest Telangana Global Summit and India Joy, marking three consecutive years of their association.
However, some Hyderabad residents have raised concerns about the accessibility of the new venue, Bharat Future City, which is further from the previous location.
