How to get planks and sheet metal in Arc Raiders

To obtain both planks and sheet metal in Arc Raiders, players have several options. The most straightforward method is to purchase them from Celeste for three seeds each. Alternatively, players can search for these items in specific areas where they are more likely to be found.

Planks are abundant in residential and old world areas, particularly in houses located in Old Town, situated southwest of Pendola Pass. These planks can also be discovered in research items and furniture blueprints. Sheet metal, on the other hand, tends to appear more frequently in technological and industrial areas, such as the Assembly and Loading Bay in Stella Montis. In this location, every yellow drawer container is believed to have a guaranteed drop of sheet metal.

While players may also find planks and sheet metal in other areas, the chances are less frequent. Given that only 24 seeds are required to buy both items from Celeste, this option may be preferable, especially considering the limited quantity needed for the Sheltered Retreat project. Once players have taken a picture of the Ruined Homestead and have the necessary resources, they can focus on securing the new plank and sheet metal items for their endeavors in Arc Raiders.
