First Look: Andy Weir Teases New Sci Fi Audio Project Exoplanet
Get an exclusive first look at Exoplanet, a time-bending Audible Original sci-fi thriller produced by Andy Weir and starring Anthony Mackie.
Andy Weir and Benjamin Percy have revealed a new Audible Original project called Exoplanet, starring Anthony Mackie, Ariana DeBose, and John Leguizamo. The sci-fi thriller, executive produced by Weir, is set to release on November 5. The cover art features a striking glimpse of three different timelines, with astronauts spiraling into a vortex in staggered foreground, middle distance, and far distance.
The story follows a team of astronauts who crash-land on a deadly exoplanet due to a quantum anomaly, each in a separate era, as they fight for survival while trying to return home to their families. Exoplanet diverges from the typical space horror genre by incorporating elements of time travel, pushing the boundaries of storytelling in a collaborative project with actors.
Both Weir and Percy express their excitement about bringing this unique sci-fi tale to life, emphasizing the immersive 3D experience listeners can expect when they tune in.
