Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta expressed optimism over the availability of Kai Havertz and Ezri Konsa for Saturday's Premier League match against Leeds United. However, Christos Tzolis is expected to be sidelined for several weeks due to a muscle injury. Arteta provided this information during a press conference, which was later published on the Arsenal's official website on Friday, October 9, 2026.
Havertz had returned earlier from international duty following his withdrawal from Germany's opening World Cup match against the Netherlands. Konsa had missed England's final group match against the Czech Republic. Arteta also highlighted that defenders Ben White and Piero Hincapie, along with Cristhian Mosquera, had returned to full fitness and were available for selection.
