De Zerbi calls on struggling Spurs to react in Man Utd clash

Roberto De Zerbi, Tottenham's manager, has demanded his team react to the pressure ahead of their crucial match against fellow struggling side Manchester United. De Zerbi's Tottenham are currently at the bottom of the Premier League table and have lost their first five league games. The Italian boss was eagerly awaiting this opportunity to erase the memory of a 3-2 home defeat against Aston Villa.

He admitted the recent match was tough, particularly the first week, but insisted his team must rise to the challenge and improve their performance. De Zerbi highlighted that they have created chances to score but have been unable to capitalize on them. With United also facing scrutiny, the match has been dubbed 'El Sackicko', referring to the potential job insecurity of both managers.

Despite being fourth in the table for the number of times they bring the ball into the opponent's area, De Zerbi's team needs to score more goals when they have clear opportunities if they are to climb out of the relegation zone.
