Carlson scores twice to help the Lightning beat the Wild 3-2

John Carlson scored twice for his 11th career multi-goal game as the Tampa Bay Lightning defeated the Minnesota Wild 3-2 on Thursday night. Nikita Kucherov provided two assists, while Dennis Hildeby made 34 saves. Anthony Cirelli added a goal for Tampa Bay, which helped them win their third straight game. Quinn Hughes scored and assisted on Blake Coleman's power-play goal for Minnesota.

Jesper Wallstedt recorded 32 saves for the Wild. Minnesota was without Olli Maatta and Nick Foligno. The Lightning will face the New York Islanders in their next game on Saturday night.
