São Paulo - The Brazilian natural stone sector has set its sights on Egypt and the United Arab Emirates, organizing a trade mission in November to explore business opportunities in these markets. This initiative, led by It’s Natural – Brazilian Natural Stone, is a collaboration between the Brazilian Center for Natural Stone (Centrorochas) and the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil). The primary objective is to showcase Brazilian natural stone and establish connections with potential buyers.
The trade mission will visit Cairo in the coming month to assess the Egyptian market and participate in the Stone Africa trade fair, which is set to take place from November 12 to 15. In parallel, Centrorochas will present an overview of Brazil’s natural stone offerings at the Big 5 Global trade fair in Dubai, scheduled for November 23 to 26. These efforts are part of a larger campaign to promote Brazilian natural stone in various countries during the latter part of 2023 and the first quarter of 2027.
Activities will include participating in trade fairs, conducting business matchmaking events, facilitating technical visits, and launching a buyer program in Brazil. The promotional activities will extend to Australia, Poland, China, and the United States, in addition to Egypt and the UAE. Centrorochas President Tales Machado emphasized the diverse range of entry points into international markets, highlighting the potential opportunities for both established and emerging markets within the natural stone sector.
