Belanjawan 2027: SJPP, CGC sedia jaminan pembiayaan RM32 bilion

Perdana Menteri Anwar Ibrahim announced that the Malaysian government will increase financing support to RM57 billion for 2027, up from RM50 billion. Two companies under the Ministry of Finance, SJPP and CGC, will provide RM32 billion in financing guarantee. The scope of SJPP's financing guarantee will be expanded to include medium-sized companies across all sectors with a guarantee limit raised to RM50 million.

RM1 billion of SJPP's guarantee will be earmarked to support local company development through mergers and acquisitions. The total amount of loan facility and financing guarantee will rise from RM50 billion to RM57 billion in 2027. Additionally, RM270 million will be provided to support small, medium, and social enterprises in attracting private capital through equity crowdfunding and peer-to-peer lending platforms.

The government also plans to extend income tax exemptions for individual investors through the ECF platform and those investing in early-stage technology companies until 31 Dec 2030. RM41 million has been allocated to MoF's Cradle Fund to execute the Startup Ecosystem Blueprint and prototyping and commercialization development.
