Avalanche L’Heureux Exchanges Haymakers with Coronato (Video)

In the Calgary game on Thursday night, Colorado Avalanche forward Zachary L’Heureux engaged in a physical altercation with Calgary Flames forward Matt Coronato. The fight took place in the second period, during a game where the Avalanche were leading 4-1. This was the first fight for L’Heureux in his second game with the Avalanche this season.

The physicality and energy L’Heureux brought to the fight were welcomed by the team, which relies on skilled and fast players. L’Heureux also scored his first point with Colorado by assisting on Nathan MacKinnon's goal, following his trade from the Nashville Predators. With the Avalanche having few depth players, L’Heureux's addition provides a different element to the team and could potentially become a regular contributor as the season progresses.
