2027: ADC activates presidential campaign machinery

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) is set to formally activate its presidential campaign machinery ahead of the 2027 general elections with the inauguration of its Presidential Campaign Council (PCC). The ceremony will be held at the Shehu Musa Yar'Adua Centre in Abuja and will bring together major leaders of the party and candidates seeking elective positions on the ADC platform.

The inauguration is expected to mark a significant step in the party's preparations for the elections, with all ADC leaders, governorship candidates, National Assembly candidates, and state House of Assembly candidates expected to attend. This event comes as political parties intensify preparations for the 2027 polls, with the ADC positioning itself as one of the major opposition platforms challenging the ruling All Progressives Congress.
