Youth Ministry, Parliament must deepen collaboration to expand opportunities – Opare Addo

Minister for Youth Development and Empowerment, George Opare Addo, has emphasized the need for deeper collaboration between his Ministry and Parliament in order to broaden opportunities for Ghanaian youth. Mr. Addo highlighted that maintaining regular communication with the Parliamentary Select Committee on Youth and Sports serves as a crucial mechanism for evaluating the advancement of youth-oriented programs, highlighting challenges, and enhancing the execution of government initiatives.

Following a meeting with members of the Committee at the Ministry of Youth Development and Empowerment on October 7, 2026, Mr. Addo expressed his gratitude to the Committee for their ongoing interest and involvement in youth development. He stressed that fostering a consistent partnership among government agencies is essential to ensure that policies and programs adequately address the needs and aspirations of Ghana’s youth.
