Visit Qatar receives prestigious GCC award recognising excellence in workforce nationalisation

Doha, Qatar - Visit Qatar has been honored with a prestigious GCC award for its outstanding efforts in workforce nationalization within the tourism sector, according to a report. The accolade, which ranks at the GCC level, was presented by the Deputy Prime Minister of Bahrain, HE Sheikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, during the 12th meeting of the GCC Committee of Ministers of Labour in Manama, Bahrain.

The recognition underscores Visit Qatar's dedication to empowering Qatar's workforce, particularly in the tourism industry. The company, led by Chief Executive Officer Eng. Abdulaziz Ali Al Mawlawi, has been actively investing in the recruitment, development, and retention of Qatari professionals, thereby ensuring they play a pivotal role in enhancing visitor experiences and driving sector growth.
