Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant operations director Ashrul Riezal Asbar reported that the department received an emergency call at 1.37pm, and a team from the Tanjong Karang Fire and Rescue Station reached the scene 20 minutes later.

The victims were trapped in the vehicle, and firefighters worked to extricate them. Ashrul Riezal confirmed that four firefighters from the Tanjong Karang station participated in the operation, and all the victims were subsequently handed over to the police for further action.
