The Brewers have CC Sabathia's heart during team's playoff run

CC Sabathia was emotionally invested in the playoff run of the team he helped the Brewers reach the World Series with in 2009. The Yankees, under Sabathia's leadership, were eliminated early by the Tampa Bay Rays in the American League Division Series. Sabathia's Milwaukee Brewers, however, had a much more successful postseason, defeating the San Diego Padres in the National League playoffs and advancing to the NL Championship Series.

Sabathia celebrated the Brewers' win on social media, expressing his happiness for the team and the city of Milwaukee. He also congratulated Pat Murphy, acknowledging the deserving nature of the Brewers' success. Sabathia's appreciation for the Brewers' achievement was evident in his social media posts, highlighting the team's accomplishment and his pride in being part of the organization's Wall of Honor.
