Stafford, Allen lead Week 5 fantasy football quarterback rankings
Matthew Stafford and Josh Allen lead UPI senior sports writer Alex Butler's Top-20 fantasy football quarterback rankings for Week 5 of 2026.
Matthew Stafford of the Los Angeles Rams and Buffalo Bills' Josh Allen top the fantasy football quarterback rankings for Week 5, according to the latest report. Joe Burrow, Jared Goff, and Dak Prescott also rank within the top five. Trevor Lawrence, Brock Purdy, Jacoby Brissett, Tyler Shough, and Kirk Cousins complete the Top-10 options. Kansas City Chiefs and Carolina Panthers players on bye should be removed from starting lineups.
Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson, who suffered an ankle injury in Week 4, remains a concern. The running back and wide receiver rankings can be found elsewhere. Stafford and Allen are highlighted as elite fantasy football picks for Week 5.
