Apple is rumored to be releasing a new OLED iPad mini soon. According to a sketchy rumor from the same source as before, the device may still have a 60Hz refresh rate and lack ProMotion support. This is the second time this rumor has surfaced, but the origin remains questionable. While some overseas sources mention 120Hz refresh rates, domestic production volume confirms the 60Hz display.
The new iPad mini is expected to feature other improvements, but the display upgrade is crucial. If Apple doesn't upgrade the display, the launch could be disappointing for iPad mini users. The device is expected to launch later this month, so we'll soon see if this rumor holds true.
