Doha: In September 2026, Qatar's foreign exchange reserves and liquidity grew by 0.46 percent year-on-year, reaching QAR 262.279 billion, according to figures released by the Qatar Central Bank (QCB) on Thursday. The official reserves climbed by 10.85 percent to QAR 223.447 billion, up from QAR 261.061 billion in the same month of 2025.

QCB's holdings of foreign bonds and treasury bills, however, decreased by approximately QAR 44.599 billion to QAR 88.280 billion.
