A video has surfaced on social media depicting the Pakistan Cricket Team manager instructing players to remove their caps during a traditional dinner organized by the PCB Chairman, Mohsin Naqvi. The incident unfolded as the players entered the dinner ahead of the Pakistan vs Sri Lanka T20I series. The cricket field hero Hasan Nawaz was seen entering with his cap on, causing Manager to point at him and ask him to remove his cap in front of Naqvi.
Naseem Shah was also reprimanded for wearing a cap. The players promptly removed their caps and joined the dinner. The manager made it clear that while discipline is essential, national cricketers are not schoolchildren who need to be reminded with finger gestures. He also revealed that players are well-informed about such protocols prior to the event.
This incident occurred ahead of the Pakistan vs Sri Lanka T20I series, set to begin on October 9 and conclude on October 13 at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
