“Not been good enough” – Alonso knows he’s under pressure to change Chelsea’s disgraceful record

Xabi Alonso has been candid about Chelsea's defense, criticizing their lack of defensive performance. In a recent interview, Alonso stated, "Not been good enough" to keep Premier League clean sheets, and acknowledged the severity of the issue. Since his appointment, Chelsea hasn't achieved a single clean sheet in the league, and he is clearly under pressure to change the team's defensive record.

The manager has been in charge for only five of these games, which highlights the urgent need for improvement. Alonso believes things can improve, but the current defensive record is causing significant embarrassment for the entire club.
