Murree University's Kohsar campus has received two pink buses to enhance transportation services for female students, according to Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif. This initiative aims to improve daily travel for students navigating Murree's challenging and mountainous routes, which have historically posed difficulties in terms of transportation.
Kohsar University's Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr. Rafia Mumtaz, expressed gratitude to the chief minister for the donation, calling it a significant advancement for female students. The new service is anticipated to alleviate commuting burdens, offering students a more consistent and secure mode of transportation to the institution.
For female students in Murree, these pink buses symbolize not just a transportation aid but also a form of support, making their academic pursuits more manageable. The provision of these buses has been highlighted in a recent article on ProPakistani.
