Korea stay at No. 32 in FIFA rankings after 4 friendlies under Moreno

Korea maintained their position at No. 32 in the latest FIFA rankings after participating in four friendlies under temporary head coach Robert Moreno. The Asian team secured two wins, had one draw, and suffered one loss during their four matches from September 21 to October 6, the period covered by FIFA's rankings.

Korea opened their campaign with a 3-0 victory over Ecuador under Moreno's guidance on September 24. However, they suffered a 4-1 defeat to Uruguay four days later. The team then drew 0-0 with Venezuela on October 3, a result which defender Kim Min-jae criticized in a televised interview for the team's lack of effort.

Korea concluded their four-match window by defeating Uzbekistan 2-0 on Tuesday. Despite these results, the team remains the fourth-best in the Asian Football Confederation, trailing Japan at 17th, Iran at 23rd, and Australia at 26th. The next FIFA rankings update is scheduled for November 9-17. The World Cup reigning champions await their next update after the November 9-17 window.
