KDHA Future Ready Framework: Turning career confusion into career discovery

The KDHA Future Ready Framework, titled "Turning career confusion into career discovery," is a groundbreaking initiative aimed at guiding students through a comprehensive career exploration process. The Career Quest Championship, as it is known, offers a unique approach to career guidance for students in Grades 1-12, beginning with a Career Quest Championship in September 2026.

The framework is designed to foster self-awareness and exploration of career pathways at each grade level, ensuring that the process is age-appropriate and gradually builds upon students' growing understanding of themselves and the world of work. Parents, schools, and teachers are encouraged to participate, transforming career discovery into a collaborative effort.

The seven-month journey consists of six stages: Discover Yourself, Explore, Experience, Create Your Path, Test, and Celebrate. Each stage is meticulously crafted to help students delve deeper into their interests, strengths, and preferences, gradually building a solid foundation for future career decisions.

The Career Quest Championship is led by Dr. Mauli Mahajan, a seasoned expert with a Ph.D. in Counselling Psychology and extensive experience in counseling, psychology, and career coaching. She emphasizes the importance of allowing students to explore their options before being pressured to make definitive career choices.

Registration for the 2026-27 edition of the Career Quest Championship opens on October 2, 2026, and runs until November 30, 2026. Early bird registration is available at a 10% discount until October 25, 2026. This innovative framework aligns with the KHDA's FutuReady Vision, promoting ongoing academic and career guidance as an integral part of education.
