Juventus not waiting until the summer to sign Atalanta man

Juventus is showing urgency in their pursuit of Atalanta defender Lorenzo Bernasconi, reportedly aiming to secure his signature ahead of the summer transfer window. The Bianconeri are keen on adding the talented left-back to their squad before it becomes more challenging. Atalanta, however, is reluctant to part with Bernasconi, who is emerging as one of the top defenders in Italy.

The club would ideally prefer to keep him. Juventus is prepared to include Colombian defender Juan Cabal in their offer, hoping to sweeten the deal for Atalanta. Bernasconi's emergence as a potential target has already influenced Atalanta's approach, leading them to abandon their pursuit of Colombian player Juan Cabal. Now, Juventus is looking to revive the possibility of signing both Bernasconi and Cabal.

The Italian side believes that moving for Bernasconi in the January window could prevent a more complicated race for his signature later in the season. Including Cabal in the proposed transfer could help Juventus convince Atalanta to consider the deal, while also providing Juve an opportunity to reassess their interest in Cabal.
