Earlier this week, Infinix announced the Smart 20e, an entry-level smartphone for the local market. The device follows the Smart 20, launched in April, and is aimed at offering durability and long battery life. The 6.75-inch IPS LCD panel boasts a 720p resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 700 nits peak brightness. The phone has survived MIL-STD-810H shock-resistance testing, withstanding drops from up to 1.5 meters.
It also possesses an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance, maintaining screen responsiveness even with wet hands. Powered by a Unisoc T7250 chipset, the phone is equipped with 4GB RAM and either 64GB or 128GB storage. The 5,000mAh battery supports 10W wired charging, accompanied by a new battery self-healing feature to prolong the battery's lifespan.
The smartphone runs on Android 16 via XOS 16.3, and connectivity includes 4.5G, WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, and NFC. It features a Flash Sharing function for file transfer between compatible devices via NFC, and supports iPhone file sharing through the Instant Transfer app. The rear camera is an 8MP sensor, paired with a 5MP front camera in a waterdrop notch.
Both cameras can record 2K video at 30fps. Additional features include 200% audio boost for use in noisy environments. The Infinix Smart 20e is available in four finishes: Deep Cherry, Hush Blue, Silver Dancer, and Night Pulse, and will be launched in Malaysia starting 9 October 2026 through official channels and online platforms like Shopee and TikTok Shop. Pricing starts at RM549 for the 64GB variant and RM599 for the 128GB model.
