Giants HC John Harbaugh Subtly Calls Out RB Cam Skattebo
Harbaugh is clearly not happy the Giants’ running game and believes they need to step it up.
New York Giants head coach John Harbaugh appeared to subtly criticize running back Cam Skattebo in a recent interview, according to NBC Sports. The longest run by Skattebo this season came with 13 yards, which may have prompted Harbaugh's remark about the team's lack of success in their running game. Giants are currently 3-1 in the NFC East, with Skattebo contributing 235 rushing yards and one touchdown.
Harbaugh acknowledged that defenses are playing the team well, but emphasized that the team must continue to improve. He also mentioned that incorporating more play action could help loosen up the defense. The Giants are set to face the Washington Commanders on Sunday.
