FBISE Extends HSSC Registration Deadline

The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) has extended the deadline for Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) registration returns submission to October 30, 2026. This extension was granted following requests from affiliated institutions, particularly in regions like Azad Jammu and Kashmir, who have faced challenges completing the registration process within the original deadline.

The decision was also influenced by Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui's special intervention.

The primary objective of this extension is to provide affiliated institutions and students with additional time to finalize the registration formalities. As a result, institutions are now allowed to submit Registration Returns by October 30, 2026, at the standard registration fee. FBISE has issued a revised notification to all affiliated institutions, emphasizing the importance of adhering to the extended deadline.

Heads of affiliated institutions are urged to utilize this extended period to ensure that Registration Returns for all eligible students are processed and submitted accurately and on time. They must also verify that all information provided complies with FBISE rules and requirements. Institutions are directed to refer to the previously issued FBISE registration notification, applicable to the current academic session, for guidance on the registration process, eligibility criteria, and related procedures.

All concerned institutions have been instructed to adhere to the revised deadline and complete the registration process within the extended timeframe. The FBISE Extends HSSC Registration Deadline story was originally published on ProPakistani.
