EPL: Man City players focused despite 115-charge verdict, says Maresca

Manchester City head coach Enzo Maresca has stated that his players remain fully focused on football despite the Premier League's 115 charges verdict against the club. The charges alleged that the club used "sham" contracts to disguise secret funding of more than £830m. Maresca had been expected to speak to his squad following the announcement of the verdict, which took place while many players were on international duty.

The City manager urged his players not to let the situation affect their attitude or focus as the Premier League campaign resumes. Maresca expressed his delight with the squad's positive mood, emphasizing that the players are excited for the upcoming matches, particularly the high-stakes game against Liverpool. The players are focused on their football performance and are not worried about the controversy surrounding the club. They trust the club and are confident in their ability to win football games.
