Deadpool and She-Hulk Are Coming to X-Men '97 Season 3
We've already known that X-Men '97 Season 3 was happening, but at New York Comic Con 2026, Marvel showed the first teaser for the new season, with surprise appearances from Deadpool and She-Hulk.
At New York Comic Con 2026, Marvel unveiled the first teaser for X-Men 97 Season 3, featuring surprise appearances from Deadpool and She-Hulk. Following the tumultuous conclusion of Season 2, the X-Men are now scattered, as revealed by Variety. The trailer displays Deadpool and She-Hulk attending Rogue and Gambit's wedding, though the extent of their involvement remains unclear.
Deadpool, known for collaborating with the X-Men when it benefits him, might have a more significant role. However, details on the plot of X-Men 97 Season 3 are still scarce. At SDCC, Marvel showcased clips of the Brotherhood of Mutants, including Pyro, Avalanche, Toad, and Blob, writing "mutant freedom" on a building before being targeted by a red, white, and blue paint-covered sentinel.
Despite Magneto's demise at Apocalypse's hand in Season 2, Mystique now leads the Brotherhood, opening up various possibilities. Executive Producer Brad Winderbaum confirmed that the studio is finalizing the animation for Season 3 while Season 2 is in production, suggesting that X-Men 97 Season 3 could be released next year.
