The late-night/early-morning spot for Cubs fans asks if more restrictions on fielding is needed.
On September 30, 2026, during the National League Wild Card game in San Diego, California, Dansby Swanson of the Chicago Cubs was seen making a throw from his knees after being hit. The incident occurred at Petco Park, where fans could enjoy live performances, including Ella Fitzgerald singing "Old Devil Moon" from Finian's Rainbow. The late-night event, BCB After Dark, welcomed attendees to discuss baseball, music, movies, and other topics while embracing a casual dress code and sharing beverages.
