Creators of Smart Launcher and KWGT are joining hands for something ‘wild’
The merger is called "Wild Pixels," and its first priority is to make both products work better together.
Smart Launcher and KWGT, two prominent creators in the Android customization space, are joining forces to launch a new venture called "Wild Pixels." The merger aims to deepen the integration between their respective products, promising innovative features and enhancements in the near future. While specific details about the upcoming offerings remain undisclosed, the partnership promises to bring about a more cohesive and powerful suite of tools for Android users.
Smart Launcher, known for its universal search and custom RSS feed, is set to evolve further through this collaboration with Kustom Industries, the creators of KWGT, the widely-used custom widget maker. The announcement was made through a Reddit AMA, with both teams highlighting the synergies that will be possible due to the partnership, suggesting that these alliances would have been challenging to establish independently.
