Cowboys 'sent him home', CB Joey Porter not playing tonight vs Bucs
The Cowboys new cornerback won't be part of the action on Thursday night.
Joey Porter Jr., the newly acquired cornerback by the Dallas Cowboys, was forced to return home from the team's latest game against the Houston Texans. Despite receiving high expectations for his performance in the second ever Cowboys contest for the young cornerback, Porter was sent back to the facility due to displaying significant illness symptoms upon his arrival at AT&T Stadium.
The Dallas Cowboys have claimed that Porter was "very sick" when he arrived at the facility, leading to his immediate dismissal from the team's lineup. As a result, the Cowboys are now without Cobie Durant, leaving DaRon Bland and Shavon Revel to carry the burden of the outside cornerback positions.
