Congress Should Introspect Instead Of Blaming EC For Its Defeat Says CM Mohan Yadav

On Thursday, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav of Madhya Pradesh criticised the Congress party and its leader Rahul Gandhi for constantly questioning the Election Commission (EC) following electoral defeats. Yadav urged the party to focus on introspection rather than blaming the EC. He pointed out that the Congress has won elections in various states under the same democratic and constitutional framework, questioning the logic behind Congress's power in states like Himachal Pradesh and Tamil Nadu, where EC processes were employed.

Umang Singhar, the Opposition Leader in the Assembly, suggested that the Election Commission is operating as an agent of the BJP, stripping the common people of their voting rights. Singhar argued that Rahul Gandhi is advocating for democracy and the voting rights of over half the country's population, and the government should heed his call.
