Cervical cancer trial finds similar early recovery results after robot-assisted versus open surgery
In early-stage cervical cancer, radical hysterectomy is an established treatment. The operation can be performed either through open surgery or robot-assisted minimally invasive surgery. Until now, there have been limited data from large randomized studies on differences in complications and recovery between the methods.
