Caitlin Clark emphasized her focus on winning as she contemplates her future with the Indiana Fever during her exit interview. Despite being eligible for the WNBA's new Exceptional Performance on Initial Contract (EPIC) provision, Clark has not yet given much thought to signing an extension. Her primary concern is building a roster capable of competing for championships, stating, "No matter what I'm going to be here and make sure we have the opportunity to be able to win championships."
Clark also expressed her support for Angel Reese's potential to benefit from the EPIC contract provision, mentioning that Reese, Aliyah Boston, and Paige Bueckers could all receive EPIC extensions.
