A video showing a sanitary pad vending machine installed inside a men's washroom has gone viral on social media, leaving netizens puzzled and amused. The unexpected sight, reportedly from a coaching class or college-like establishment in Uttarakhand, sparked debate about the placement of the menstrual hygiene dispenser in a traditionally male-designated space.
While some users treated the setup as an ironic take on gender equality, others made sarcastic remarks about the government's decision. The video also featured the song "Chahun Main Ya Naa" playing in the background, adding to the absurdity of the situation. Despite the humorous reactions, the clip highlights the importance of menstrual hygiene access in India, a topic acknowledged by the Supreme Court as a part of the right to life.
