WHO Urges Russian Transparency After Second ‘Plague Worker’ Falls Ill
The director-general of the World Health Organization (WHO) said he has requested additional information from Russia concerning the weekend death of a worker at the Irkutsk Anti-Plague Institute. His demand follows media reports that a second employee had come down with “pneumonia of an unknown etiology.”
