Robbie Bennett, a member of The War On Drugs, is set to release two new double albums, Steloken and Circulation, on December 11. These albums come following Bennett's 2020 debut album, Permanent World. Bennett's piano and classical counterpoint-inspired music has been developed using his keyboard rig, which includes an Oberheim OB-X8 synthesizer, a Fender Rhodes, and a Soma Terra polyphonic microtonal synthesizer with unique features like a gyroscope and pressure-sensitive sensors.
Bennett explained that he aims for his music to encourage exploration, creating a sense of never having to circle back to where one started. Two tracks from the upcoming albums, "Sister" and "The Light On Your Face," have been shared this week. Both Steloken and Circulation will be released on American Dreams.
