LAHORE: Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) Chief Executive Faiz Ahmed Chadhar opened the 42nd International Exhibition of Handmade Carpets on Tuesday, emphasizing that every dollar is highly valuable for Pakistan. He pledged full government support to the industry and promised to address its visa-related issues promptly.
The three-day event, organized by the Pakistan Carpet Manufacturers and Exporters Association (PCMEA) at a local hotel, attracted numerous international buyers from the United States, Germany, Turkiye, China, Russia, and Sweden, among others. Prominent figures in attendance included Arifullah, PCMEA Patron-in-Chief Abdul Latif Malik, Northern Zone Senior Vice Chairman Khawaja Mir Mudassar, Vice Chairman Nadeem Sajid, Exhibition Chairman Riaz Ahmed, Carpet Training Institute Chairperson Ijaz-ur-Rehman, former chairman Mian Atiq-ur-Rehman, and several other senior members.

They noted the keen interest shown by foreign buyers in Pakistani products, which had greatly encouraged local manufacturers.
