Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail bertitah perkembangan teknologi, jenayah siber dan ketidakstabilan sosial menuntut masyarakat kembali meneliti pendekatan Rasulullah SAW.
Raja Muda Perlis, Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail, has emphasized the importance of adhering to the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad SAW as a guide to navigate the complex challenges of modern times, including humanitarian conflicts, economic pressures, and rapid advancements in artificial intelligence (AI). He stressed that the Sunnah is not just a historical legacy, but contains practical principles for building a safe, just, and prosperous life.
He noted that contemporary issues such as social instability, conflicts, cybercrimes, technological disruptions, and the rapid development of artificial intelligence demand a re-examination of the approaches and methods demonstrated by Prophet Muhammad SAW. He urged efforts to strengthen engagement with the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad SAW among the current generation and to utilize it as a guide in addressing various modern problems.
This was stated by the Raja Muda Perlis during the 10th International Interdisciplinary Warisan Nabawi Seminar (SWAN X) 2026 held at the Imam Bukhari International Scientific Research Centre in Samarkand, Uzbekistan. He was accompanied by Raja Puan Muda Perlis, Tuanku Lailatul Shahreen Akashah Khalil, and his three daughters, Sharifah Farah Adriana Jamalullail.
The seminar, organized by the Faculty of Quranic and Sunnah Studies, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM), was in collaboration with the International Islamic University Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin (UniSIRAJ), the Islamic and Adat Istiadat Malaysia Perlis Council (MAIPs), and several strategic partners. The theme of the seminar was "Heritage of Nabawi in Navigating the Era of Global Instability", bringing together scholars, academicians, and researchers from various countries to discuss solutions to geopolitical, social, and economic challenges based on Islamic tradition.
Selected papers from the seminar will be published in a Scopus-indexed and MyCite journal and included in the official e-proceedings.
