#SHOWBIZ: Actor Azhan Rani loses IC for third time in under three months

KUALA LUMPUR: Renowned actor Azhan Rani experienced a distressing incident recently when his sling bag, which held his wallet and identity card (IC), went missing during a film shoot in Kajang. The 50-year-old found the bag gone after concluding his 2.30am filming session in the drama set. In a recent report, he disclosed, "I hadn't opened the bag earlier. I didn't need it for my car keys, as I can unlock and start my car with a sensor touch."

Azhan promptly reported the loss at the Kajang police station. The next day, he acquired a temporary IC before returning to the set, juggling back and forth to the National Registration Department (JPN) office, his makeup still fresh with a gorilla-like impression. He playfully mentioned, "I looked like a gorilla had mauled me."

Expressing gratitude, Azhan commended the JPN staff for their assistance, although some mistakenly believed his distress was genuine. He admitted to being quite careless, calling it a "painful lesson" and vowed to be more cautious in the future.
