Sarawakian hits dream RM10.17mil jackpot
He says he never expected such a huge win.
A Sarawakian contractor, a dedicated Sports Toto patron for over three decades, clinched a staggering RM10.17 million prize after placing bets predicated on a dream. The 54-year-old, who habitually wagered RM50 weekly for the past 30 years, revealed that the winning numbers 8622 and 5765 were inspired by his dream. This was the second time he had bet on these numbers; his first instance was not expecting such a massive windfall.
He was in a lunch break near a renovation site when he spotted a Sports Toto outlet beside the restaurant, prompting him to once again purchase these numbers. He expressed surprise at the decision, stating he did not give it much thought at the time. The Sarawakian reported feeling tranquil upon learning of his victory, even enjoying a peaceful night's sleep.
He has yet to finalize his plans for the winnings, but intends to allocate a share towards securing his children's future. He emphasized the importance of meticulous planning before making significant decisions.
